What Are Hornets?

Identification
Yellow Jackets
Appearance: Typically about 1/2 inch long, short, and blocky, with yellow and black or white and black coloring.
Paper Wasps
Appearance: Brownish black, occasionally yellowish or gray, about 1/4 inch long.
Hornets
Appearance: Range about 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch long, short, and blocky, with black, red, or white coloring.
